Tunnel Vision’s bucket machines setup consists of two powered winches that are centered over the two manholes on a run or on both ends of a culvert. A specially designed bucket serves as the connecting link between the two winches and can be pulled in either direction. One of the machines pulls the bucket into the pipeline with the bucket end open. When the bucket is full, the other machine pulls it back. When the bucket is pulled back, the “clam shell” end automatically closes and debris is carried up and out of the manhole or culvert. The system is especially useful for locations with a limited source of water. The winching system is also utilized during the installation of pipeline relining materials.
